Objective: To create a balanced and pragmatic proposal that addresses Romania’s national interests, its obligations within NATO and the EU, while offering constructive engagement with Russia. The proposal seeks to maintain Romania’s security commitments under NATO, ensure regional stability, and advance economic cooperation between all parties, while addressing Russia’s concerns over NATO’s expansion and the positioning of military forces in Romania.

 

1. Non-Aggression Pact and Regional Security Cooperation

Goal: Establish a non-aggression pact that prevents military escalation and fosters peaceful cooperation between Romania, NATO, Russia, and other regional actors. The pact should focus on regional security, mutual respect for territorial integrity, and economic collaboration.
